Privacy notice
A private photo should stay private.
This pre-release notice describes the current Skin Twin website and iOS app. It must be reviewed again if analytics, accounts, cloud processing, payments or contact forms are added.
Effective 16 September 2026
Photo analysis
In the current iOS build, selfie analysis and illustrated portrait rendering are performed on the device. Skin Twin does not upload the selected photo to a server to generate the cosmetic profile or match. Source and generated portrait images are held in app memory for the current experience rather than being added to an online Skin Twin account.
Information stored on your device
The app may store product favourites and weekly product votes locally on your device. You can remove this local information by deleting the app or clearing the relevant choices in the app when controls are available.
Website data
This website does not currently provide an account, waitlist form or analytics integration. The hosting provider may process standard technical request data, such as an IP address, browser information and timestamps, to deliver and protect the website.
Camera and photo-library access
iOS asks for permission before the app can use the camera or a photo you select from your library. Skin Twin only receives the image you choose or capture for the requested app flow.
Beauty guidance, not health data
Skin Twin is designed for cosmetic and educational inspiration. It does not diagnose, treat or replace professional dermatology care. Do not use the app for urgent or medical decisions.
Changes and contact
This notice will be updated before public launch with the final legal owner, support contact and hosting details. Questions can be directed through the support page.
